Thunderstorms in the Grmljavina area will hit parts of Serbia this evening: Here's when lightning and thunder reach as far as Belgrade

Severe thunderstorms have struck northern Vojvodina in Serbia, bringing heavy rain, hail, lightning, and strong winds. The storms are moving across the region, affecting areas such as Sombor, Apatin, Odzak, Novi Sad, Kula, Vrbas, Srbobran, Zrenjanin, and Vršac. The Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued warnings through email and SMS alerts, advising citizens to avoid travel and protect their property. The National Hydrological and Meteorological Institute (RHMZ) has also initiated procedures to send emergency SMS notifications due to the expected severe weather.

Nevreme stiglo u Srbiju.

U toku poslepodneva sever Vojvodine zahvatile su snažne grmljavinske oluje iz Mađarske. One se premeštaju u severozapadnoj visinskoj struji i donose snažne pljuskove, jake gromove, olujni vetar i grad.

U narednih sat vremena na udaru pljuskova sa grmljavinom biće veći deo Bačke i centralni i jugoistočni deo Banata. Lokalno se očekuju i jake oluje sa grmljavinom, gradom i vrlo obilnim pljuskovima.

Na najjačem udaru nevremena naći će se šire područje Sombora, Apatina, Odžaka, Novog Sada, Kule, Vrbasa, Srbobrana, Zrenjanina, Vršca.

Ovi grmljavinski procesi već se premeštaju preko Vojvodine, a novi stižu sa severozapada iz Hrvatske i nastaviće put dalje prema jugoistoku.

Sektor za vanredne situacije Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova Srbije danas je upozorio građane putem mejla i SMS poruka na oluju sa gradom i olujnim vetrom za više područja u zemlji, ističuči da će to dovesti do opasnosti po bezbednost ljudi i životinja.

Upozorenje se odnosi na teritoriju Vojvodine, šire područje Beograda, zapadne Srbije, Šumadije, Pomoravlja, Braničevskog i Borskog okruga.

Građani se savetuju da ne kreću na put i da zaštite vozila i imovinu.

Prethodno je iz Republičkog hidrometereološkog zavoda (RHMZ) pokrenuta procedura za prenos SMS hitnih informacija građanima usled grmljavinskog nevremena koje se do kraja dana očekuje na delovima teritorije Srbije.

"Budite na oprezu i pratite informacije nadležnih organa", navedeno je na sajtu RHMZ-a.

Prema navodima RHMZ-a, kasnije u toku večeri očekuje se premeštanje ovog grmljavinskog sistema preko zapadne Srbije, Beograda, Šumadije, Pomoravlja, Borskog, Braničevskog i Zaječarskog okruga dalje ka Rumuniji i Bugarskoj, dok će se u drugom delu noći ka ponedeljku smanjiti rizik od nepogoda na navedenom području.

Pljuskovi i grmljavine koji se očekuju večeras u pojedinim delovima Beograda kratkotrajno mogu biti intenzivniji, uz grad i olujni vetar.

Narandžasti meteo-alarm, koji označava opasno vreme, na snazi je u Beogradu, Sremu, Banatu i Bačkoj.

Republički hidrometereološki zavod (RHMZ) pokrenuo je u 16 časova procedure za prenos SMS hitnih informacija građanima usled grmljavinskog nevremena koje se do kraja dana očekuje na delovima teritorije Srbije.

"Budite na oprezu i pratite informacije nadležnih organa", navedeno je na sajtu RHMZ-a.

U toku večeri grmljavinske oluje mogle bi zahvatiti i Podrinje, Mačvu, šire područje Beograda, sever Šumadije, Pomoravlje, Podunavlje i Braničevski okrug, a tokom noći i centralne delove Srbije.
