After the evening mass, the annual procession of the body

On Thursday, June 4th, a traditional telov processional took place after evening mass in the parish of St. Peter in Gornja Radgona, commemorating the feast day of the Holy Body. Such processions were mainly banned during communism but previously led towards the Radgona castle. Four prayers and petitions were held at four altars, each prepared by different groups of local parishioners.

V četrtek, 4. junija, na praznik Svetega rešnjega telesa je bila v župniji sv. Petra v Gornji Radgoni po večerni maši tradicionalna telovska procesija. Tovrstne procesije so bile v času komunizma v glavnem prepovedane. Nekoč pa so vodile celo proti radgonskemu gradu. Ob štirih oltarjih so bile opravljene molitve in prošnje. Prvega so pripravili verniki iz okolice Šantlove kapele v Črešnjevcih, drugega verniki iz okolice Zemljičeve kapele v Črešnjevcih, tretjega verniki Gornje Radgone in četrtega ženska skupina radgonske župnije.
