Ker je poslanec SDS Žan Mahnič v parlamentu razkril, da je na seji komisije za nadzor obveščevalnih služb (KNOVS) za zaprtimi vrati zdaj že bivši šef Sove Joško Kadivnik povedal, da Sova nima dokazov o tem, da je za prejšnjo vlado nerodne posnetke direktorjev, odvetnikov in politikov o koruptivnosti oblasti naredilo prav zasebno podjetje Black Cube, je predsednica KNOVS Janja Sluga (Svoboda) napisala ostro protestno pismo predsedniku parlamenta Zoranu Stevanoviću . Sluga trdi, da Mahnič tega ne bi smel razkrivati, ker gre za zaupne podatke, pa tudi, da na seji komisije ni bilo povedanega nič novega in da Black Cube ni bil posebna točka dnevnega reda komisije. Informacija, da Sova nima dokazov, kdo je snemal, je pomembna, ker je Robert Golob javno, tudi na TV Slovenija, zatrjeval, da Sova ima dokaze, da je snemalo prav podjetje Black Cube, trditev šefa vlade in Svobode pa iz Sove niso zanikali. Nastop Mahniča v parlamentu, ob potrjevanju ministrov vlade Janeza Janše, ki je razhudil Slugo, je bil takšen:
