Frančiškov študentski dom (FŠD) deluje v okviru župnije svetega Frančiška Asiškega v Šiški. V njem prebiva približno 60 študentov in študentk. Ker gre za katoliški dom, ne ponuja zgolj priložnosti za druženje in zabavo, temveč tudi različne drobce za duhovno in osebno rast.

Praznovanje obletnice – srečanje z nekdanjimi »domovci«

P. Pavle Jakop je ob odprtju doma pred tremi desetletji tako nagovoril mlade: »Želim, da tej ustanovi vdihnete dušo in srce vi sami. Doslej smo lahko obnovili gole zidove, vi pa boste sedaj gradili DOM tako, da boste ustvarjali prijateljsko ozračje, ki vam bo omogočilo študijske uspehe in obenem pripomoglo k vašemu dozorevanju.«

Frančiškovemu študentskemu domu generacije študentov vlivajo mladostniško energijo že 30 let. Ob tem svečanem dogodku je bilo na pomladno soboto v aprilu praznovanje, na katerem smo se podružili sedanji in nekdanji FŠD-jevci ter bratje frančiškani, ki so na različne načine domu dodali svoj delček mozaika.
