Zahvalan sam svim igračima i liječničkom timu koji su bili na terenu na potpori i podršci, a posebnu zahvalnost liječnicima koji su se godinama brinuli o mome srcu. Zahvaljujući njima, moj ICD uređaj je napravio upravo ono što je i trebao učiniti: zaštititi me kada to zatrebam. Moj fokus je sada na oporavku, provođenju vremena s obitelji, odlasku na odmor i igranju nogometa sa svojom djecom", napisao je Eriksen.
