La jornada de ayer lunes, la Fiscalía Nacional informó que decidió abrir una investigación de oficio, para recabar todos los antecedentes y analizar la posible comisión de delitos sobre una serie de vuelos chárter provenientes desde Haití registrados en 2025 para “reunificación familiar”, en los que habrían ingresado a Chile un número indeterminado de menores haitianos sin el adecuado control.
Según se denuncia, no habría existido una verificación por parte de las autoridades competentes durante el viaje o al momento del ingreso al país, de la relación de estos adultos con los menores.
Consultada al respecto y en conversación con Radio Agricultura, la diputada y vicepresidenta de la Cámara de Diputados, Ximena Ossandón , dio a conocer que ella había recibido denuncias de este tipo y que había presentado oficios a varias instituciones, pero no fue escuchada.
“Un año yo oficié por esto mismo a muchas instituciones y recibí muy poca respuesta, solo una respuesta, diría yo, -básicamente, la PDI - pero con ninguna información muy específica y muy oficial”, sostuvo.
De esto, indicó, se enteró “por personas de mi distrito que me contaron que esto que estaba sucediendo. En el fondo, en el aeropuerto una persona que trabajaba”.
“Ahora, no tenemos claro que hayan sido chárters. Son todas las cosas que se tienen que investigar, pero lo que sí, existió un movimiento extraño de muchos niños durante un tiempo . Y fue una cosa que muchas personas lo notaron”, sentenció.
Al enterarse, señaló, ” yo oficié inmediatamente y conté un poco el cuento y como que la verdad que nadie me pescó mucho”.
“Bueno, dije yo, habrá sido un cuento medio exagerado. Pero claramente hoy día uno se da cuenta que de cuento exagerado no tenía absolutamente nada, y yo oficié a varias instituciones sin respuesta”.
Asimismo, la diputada apuntó a que lo importante es conocer el paradero de esos menores.
“ Es impresionante que por decir que es reunificación familiar no te pregunten, o sea, que no existe una trazabilidad", sostuvo.
Sobre la investigación, la diputada indicó si bien hay que buscar las responsabilidades, “lo más importante que tiene que hacer Frank Sauerbaum (director del Servicio Nacional de Migraciones) es ver y hacer todo lo posible para saber la trazabilidad de esos niños, porque yo me imagino que probablemente algún registro salía, pueden haber tenido, incluso si efectivamente fueron charter desde Haití, y si son solo haitianos. En una de esas no son solo haitianos, pueden ser tal vez de otra nacionalidad”.
