The D6 motorway outside of Prague is closed until tonight due to urgent road repairs.

The D6 highway near Prague has been closed until evening due to an urgent repair of the road surface. Luděk Hubáček from the Road and Motorway Directorate (ŘSD) stated that the closure is temporary and the highway is expected to reopen at 6 PM. The repairs are taking place around the 18th kilometer near Družce, where traffic has been redirected to half of the highway due to bridge reconstruction. The shoulder lane requires immediate repair because it is used for traffic heading into Prague. The duration of the restrictions depends on the extent of the damage to the road surface. Luděk Hubáček z Ředitelství silnic a dálnic (ŘSD) řekl, že je potřeba opravit odstavný pruh na Prahu. Termín otevření dálnice v 18:00 je podle něj předběžný.

Dálnice se uzavřela v pátek před 09:00. Vozovku je třeba opravit u Družce zhruba na 18. kilometru D6, kde je kvůli rekonstrukci mostu provoz převedený na polovinu dálnice. Nutnou opravu tam potřebuje vozovka v odstavném pruhu, kterým je vedená doprava na Prahu. "Situace tam byla vyhodnocená jako nebezpečná," podotkl Hubáček.

Jak dlouho omezení potrvá, zatím není jisté. Podle Hubáčka to bude záležet na tom, jak moc poničená tam vozovka bude. V místě nutné opravy už silničáři začali frézovat vozovku a budou pokládat nový povrch. Vzhledem k horkému počasí ale nějakou dobu potrvá, než nová vozovka unese dopravní zatížení. "Musí vychladnout do nějaké pevnosti," řekl Hubáček.

Omezení na D6 kvůli rekonstrukci mostu u Družce začalo podle webu ŘSD před minulým víkendem. Trvat by mělo téměř do konce září.
