The European Handball Federation has announced it will decide on Monday, June 22, which teams will participate in the expanded Champions League. Srpski prvak je najpre na društvenim mrežama, a potom i na svom sajtu saopštio da je iz Beča, sedišta EHF stigla sjajna vest da su u najelitnijem evropskom društvu.

- Partizan je zajedno sa još 26 klubova izrazio želju da se nađe među najboljim evropskim klubovima, a s obzirom da Srbija nema zagarantovano mesto u Ligi šampiona, naš klub je priželjkivao vajld-kartu, što se na kraju i obistinilo - piše između ostalog u saopštenju na klupskom sajtu.

Crno-beli su poslednji put Ligi šampiona igrali u sezoni 2012/13. godina. I konačno se ostvario san mnogi generacija kluba iz Humske.

Beograđani su se mesecima borili za dobijanje specijalne pozivnice. Na čelo stručnog štaba doveli su umesto Đorđa Ćirkovića selektora Srbije Raula Gonzalesa, a potom su i počeli da stvaraju tim za elitno takmičenje. Stigli su stranci: Belorus Vladislav Kuleš, Izraelac Joav Lumbroso, Španac Migel Sančez Migaljon, Austrijana Tobijas Vagner i golman BiH Bekir Čordalija. Crno-beli dres posle 16 godina obući će Ilija Abutović, došao je srpski reprezentativac Miloš Kos, kao i tandem iz Metaloplastike Brana Mirković i Milija Papović.

Od starosedeoca, tu su: golman Andrej Trnavac, kapiten Mladen Šotić, Ivan Mićić, Petar Ivanić, Aljoša Damjanović, Sima Šijan, Nikola Crnoglavac, Rus Sergej Ivanov i Lazar Anđelković.

Čelnici crno-belih su nedavno razgovarali sa prvim ljudima EHF o uslovima koje moraju da ispune.Tada su iz Partizana dali garancije da će utakmice "da prođu bez ikakvih problema, da se radi na bezbednosnim protokolima i efikasnijoj organizaciji mečeva, zarad očuvanja bezbednosti i svih aktera na terenu i tribinama". Jasno je da ukoliko navijači izazovu incident da že kazne biti žestoke.

Crno-beli su ranije najavili da će utakmici Lige šampiona da igraju u dvorani "Aleksandar Nikolić", a sada se spominje i "Beogradska arena"

ŽREB 26. JUNA

LIGA šampiona je proširena sa 16 na 24 kluba i ekipe će biti podeljene u šest grupa.

Ko će sve učestvovati EHF će objaviti u ponedeljak, 22.juna,a u petak, 26. održaće se žreb za grupnu fazu. Titulu prvaka Evrope brani Barselona.
