Pushed back to where they belong: next season among Europe's elite

Celj has returned to the top of Slovenian handball after winning the national title this season. Despite strong competition from teams based in the capital, Celj secured the best team status in the country. Following their painful exit in the semifinals of the European Cup against Macedonian Ohrid, they will return to European elite competitions next season. Last season, they participated in the Champions League but finished at the bottom of the group without earning any points. The European Handball Federation (EHF) decided in Vienna to allow three clubs from the former Yugoslavia region to参加

Nazadnje so v Ligi prvakov igrali v sezoni 2023/24, ko so v skupinskem delu zasedli zadnje mesto, osvojili pa niso niti ene točke.
