El juicio oral por la desaparición de Loan Danilo Peña comenzará este martes en la provincia de Corrientes , a dos años de la última vez que se vio al niño de 5 años durante un almuerzo familiar en la localidad de 9 de Julio. El debate se desarrollará en el Escuadrón 48 de Gendarmería Nacional , contará con 17 imputados, cerca de 200 testigos y más de 900 fojas de prueba. Los fiscales Tamara Ahimara Pourcel y Carlos Schaefer buscarán probar ante los jueces Fermín Amado Ceroleni, Eduardo Ariel Belforte y Simón Pedro Bracco la responsabilidad de los imputados por la desaparición de Loan .
A dos años del hecho, que mantiene en vilo al país bajo sospechas de crimen organizado y trata de personas, la fiscal general Pourcel fue tajante: “Esperamos que alguno de ellos se pueda quebrar. Estamos seguros de que saben qué pasó con Loan”.

La investigación no logró determinar el paradero del niño ni esclarecer qué sucedió aquella tarde en el paraje Algarrobal, donde Loan participaba de un almuerzo en la casa de su abuela , Catalina Peña .

Esta hipótesis sostiene que los tíos de la víctima y un grupo de allegados actuaron de manera coordinada para apartar al menor de la custodia de su padre, José Peña , bajo la excusa de ir a buscar naranjas.
Todos llegan al juicio con prisión preventiva, medida que fue ratificada por el tribunal en la previa del inicio del proceso. Los acusados son:

El matrimonio integrado por el excapitán de navío Carlos Pérez y la exfuncionaria María Victoria Caillava .

La "zona cero" del caso Loan. Escenario de peritajes e inspecciones
Entre los elementos centrales del expediente aparecen las pericias odoríferas realizadas con perros rastreadores, que marcaron rastros del niño en la camioneta del matrimonio integrado por Carlos Pérez y María Victoria Caillava , y luego en un Ford Ka rojo vinculado a la investigación. A ello se suman registros telefónicos, movimientos de vehículos durante la franja horaria crítica y contradicciones en las declaraciones de varios de los imputados.
Por otro lado, serán juzgados diez integrantes vinculados a la Fundación Lucio Dupuy, acusados de haber entorpecido y desviado la investigación mediante pistas falsas y maniobras que dificultaron el esclarecimiento del caso.
Caso Loan: la Justicia que sostiene la búsqueda y la Justicia que quiere bajar los brazos
Los imputados son Nicolás Gabriel Soria, conocido como "El Americano", Elizabeth Cutaia, Pablo Noguera, Leonardo Rubio, Alan Cañete, Delfina Taborda, Verónica Machuca Yuni, Valeria López, Pablo Núñez y Federico Rossi Colombo.

Dada la complejidad del entramado criminal y judicial, los fiscales estiman que las audiencias podrían extenderse durante al menos seis meses.

Jueves 18 de junio: Inicio de las declaraciones testimoniales. Los primeros en sentarse frente al tribunal serán los padres del niño, María Luisa Noguera y José Mariano Peña , seguidos por su hermano, Mariano Peña .
La exfuncionaria municipal María Victoria Caillava y su esposo, el exmarino Carlos Pérez, están imputados por la presunta sustracción y ocultamiento de Loan
La lista global incluye a casi 200 testigos. Para la segunda semana de debate, se prevé citar al resto de los hermanos del niño: Cristián Ramón Peña , Alfredo Maximiliano Peña , José Omar Peña , Cesar Iván Peña y Fernando Peña . Posteriormente, declararán Camila Ayelén Macarena Peña (hija de Laudelina), los tíos Ceferina Ignacia Noguera y Alberto Sebastián Noguera , y la abuela de Loan, Catalina , en cuya casa de paraje Algarrobal se produjo la última reunión familiar antes de la desaparición del niño.
