De ondernemingsrechtbank van Hasselt heeft nu de bescherming tegen schuldeisers verlengd tot 26 september 2026. Dat betekent dat Vynova voorlopig niet failliet verklaard kan worden en dat schuldeisers geen bezittingen van de fabriek mogen opeisen om hun geld terug te krijgen. Oorspronkelijk liep deze bescherming af op 26 juni.

Volgens woordvoerder Yannick Brusselmans wordt er achter de schermen hard gewerkt aan een doorstart onder een nieuwe eigenaar. "Met deze extra tijd kunnen we de lopende gesprekken goed afronden en zo een akkoord te bereiken", vertelt Brusselmans.

De komende maanden zijn cruciaal voor het voortbestaan van de fabriek, met enkele belangrijke deadlines op de agenda. "Vynova moet uiterlijk op 21 augustus het definitieve reorganisatieplan en een voorstel voor de schulden indienen", legt Brusselmans uit.

Op 11 september komen de schuldeisers samen om te stemmen over het definitieve reddingsplan van het bedrijf.
