Za župnijo Celje - Sveti Duh je binkoštna nedelja osrednji župnijski praznik, ki ga je tokrat zaznamovalo tudi dogajanje na večer pred praznikom z bogato liturgijo, to je večernicami ter binkoštno vigilijo, ki se nato nadaljuje s češčenjem Najsvetejšega do polnoči. Tudi letos je župnijo obiskal škof Maksimilijan Matjaž in v nagovoru spomnil na temeljno vizijo škofije, da se v Svetem Duhu prepoznavamo kot misijonski učenci. Omenil je izkušnjo srečanja z mladimi v župniji, ki so pričevali, kako se Bog dotika njihovih src. Naše življenje je lahko drugačno, če prepoznamo Božje navdihe. Spomnil je tudi, da je škofija pred velikimi spremembami. Dan kasneje, na binkošti, pa je župnik David Zagorc podelil zakrament svete birme sedmim birmancem, ob tem pa povabil tudi tri predstavnike mladih, da so sami govorili o svoji izkušnji, saj zadnje časa v župnijo prihaja vedno več tistih, ki šele na novo spoznavajo krščansko oznanilo.
