Benjamina Karić, Mayor of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, today showed a different side of herself at a gathering with retirees in Javorov Dol on Bjelašnica – a face different from the one citizens are used to seeing at official events and sessions.
In a video she posted on social media, Karić can be seen enjoying music and dance together with the gathered retirees, and at one point she joined the circle dance and danced with those present.
"Cokes and our retirees – top-notch fun at Javorov Dol", wrote Karić along with the video, which quickly attracted the attention of social media users.
While some emphasize that it was a relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant gathering with the oldest fellow citizens, others paid more attention to the mayor's dance moves themselves.
