After nearly two weeks of strikes, the CNTE maintains a sit-in in the center of Mexico City; awaits resolution from the National Representative Assembly

The Coordinadora Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (CNTE) continues its sit-in in the historic center of Mexico City after 13 days of strike. Teachers are waiting for the resolution of the National Representative Assembly, which will decide whether they remain in the capital or return to their states. The protest has blocked major avenues such as Paseo de la Reforma, Bucareli, and Tlalpan. The teachers have set up tents in several streets since June 1st and continue to block these roads while awaiting the outcome of the assembly. They demand the repeal of the 2007 ISSSTE Law and the re-
