Durante el segundo día de actividades del Mundial de Futbol 2026 , el FIFA Fan Fest del Zócalo capitalino mantuvo el cerco con vallas metálicas , así como accesos y salidas controladas, aunque no hubo mayores filtros para la revisión de quienes ingresaban.
Hasta ayer, en las calles aledañas a la Plaza de la Constitución se mantenían algunas casas de campaña de integrantes de la CNTE .
Previo al partido de las selecciones de Canadá y Bosnia , el acceso de fanáticos por las pequeñas puertas en los muros de metal era rápido y fluido.

En los accesos había vigilancia de personal de la Secretaría de Gobierno así como de la Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana ( SSC ).
Sin embargo, conforme la tarde avanzaba el número de personas que buscaba entrar al Zócalo era mayor, por lo que las filas crecieron considerablemente.

En el momento que las filas de acceso eran más largas, el tiempo estimado para entrar fue de un minuto, aproximadamente. A los asistentes con mochilas o bolsas grandes se les pedía una revisión.

En las calles aledañas al Zócalo como 5 de Mayo , Tacuba y Mesones permanecía presencia de casas de campaña de la CNTE.

En el FIFA Fan Fest el ambiente era dominado por aficionados de origen mexicano y canadiense. “El que no brinque es bosnio, el que no brinque es bosnio”, gritaban los asistentes tras el empate en el marcador.
Al sitio también acudieron familias y turistas , quienes aprovecharon para tomarse fotos y disfrutar de las actividades en el lugar, incluso se vio la presencia de un robot , que animó a los visitantes.

Para salir por las puertas del perímetro de vallas en calles como 16 de Septiembre y Tacuba los policías y funcionarios organizaban una fila para salir y otra para entrar. Mientras que en la puerta que da hacia la avenida 20 de Noviembre el flujo era mayor, debido a la longitud del acceso.
“No inventes, vamos a tardar más en salir que lo que tardamos en entrar”, expresó una asistente.
Ayer, la SSC informó que durante el operativo de seguridad implementado por el partido inaugural del Mundial en el Estadio Ciudad de México fueron detenidas 19 personas por distintos hechos y 11 policías resultaron lesionados en un enfrentamiento con encapuchados.
