Los representantes de la Coordinadora Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación ( CNTE )denunciaron que las autoridades federales y locales los han reprimido y hostigado para detener sus movilizaciones para exigir la abrogación de la ley del ISSSTE del 2007 .
Elvira Veleces , líder de la CETEG , acusó que las autoridades destruyeron su teléfono cuando fue retenida al sur de la Ciudad de México.
"Jamás hemos dicho que vamos a impedir el Mundial", dijo Veleces a la llegada de la CNTE a otra mesa de negociación en la Secretaría de Gobernación (Segob). Acusa que fueron robados, golpeados y amenazados de muerte rumbo al Estadio Ciudad de México para manifestarse.

"Hemos tenido represión, hostigamiento, persecución política a quienes representamos las diferentes contingentes de la CNTE, no señora presidenta, no somos de la derecha, hay que recordar quiénes tienen a los del PRI y a los del PAN en este gobierno", dijo en conferencia de prensa.

Los maestros se plantaron en la calzada de Tlalpan, a la altura del Hotel Real del Sur, donde la policía les impidió llegar al Estadio Azteca .

"Cualquier situación de violencia de represión serán responsabilidad del Gobierno Federal y del gobierno de la Ciudad de México, que nos está hostigando en las actividades que estamos impulsando el día de hoy", refirió.
Pérez Martínez informó que reanudarían las mesas de negociación en la Secretaría de Gobernación, pero aseguró que no aceptarían las mismas propuestas del Gobierno, que es traspasar sus afores a pensionissste.

"Hoy hay un llamado de parte del Gobierno Federal a acudir a una mesa en la Secretaría de Gobernación, sin duda alguna no queremos escuchar las mismas respuestas que tenemos hasta ahora, mostramos una vez más la voluntad política de la CNTE para acudir a esta mesa, pero también, si no hay respuestas favorables, también el propio movimiento en los espacios de asamblea, de discusión y análisis haremos lo correspondiente, vamos a seguir en esta lucha hasta que tengamos respuestas favorables", dijo.
Por su parte, Mario Roldan, representante de la Sección 40 Chiapas, advirtió que si la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum no les cumple su promesa de abrogar la ley del ISSSTE, "nos va a recordar toda la vida este régimen de falsa transformación".
"Le queremos recordar al gobierno actual en el 2013, tardó 84 días la huelga, en el 2016,124 días, y la CNTE le encanta romper récords, que lo piensen dos veces, que nos atiendan, que no nos mientan y que cumplan su palabra", expresó.

Martín Martínez Contreras, de la Sección Guanajuato, reclamó que la presidenta Sheinbaum no ha cumplido con su palabra, y tampoco lo hizo el ex presidente López Obrador , que también prometió derogar la reforma educativa del ex presidente Peña Nieto, y tampoco lo hizo.
Al final de la marcha, los maestros corrieron del plantón a Fadlala Akabani Hneide, subsecretario de Gobierno de la Ciudad de México, quien dijo que sólo se acercó para supervisar que hubiera condiciones para la manifestación.
