Župljani župnij Fram in Rače s težkim srcem sporočajo, da jih je mnogo prezgodaj zapustil njihov župnik Robert Emeršič, župnik v Račah in soupravitelj župnije sv. Ane v Framu. Od njega se bodo poslovili v sredo, 17. junija.
Krsto pokojnega župnika bodo na dan pogreba, torej v sredo, 17. junija, ob 12. uri položili v župnijsko cerkev sv. Jurija v Hočah. Ob 14. uri bo sveta maša, po maši pa bo pogreb na pokopališču v Hočah.
V torek, 16. junija, dan pred pogrebom, bo njegova krsta ležala od 14. do 17. ure v župnijski cerkvi župnije svete Ane v Framu, od 17.30 do 20.00 pa v župnijski cerkvi svetega Jožefa Delavca v Račah, kjer bo ob 20. uri sveta maša, ki jo bodo darovali dekanijski duhovniki.
Pred kratkim dopolnil 51 let
Na spletni strani mariborske nadškofije so ob žalostni novici spomnili, da se je pokojni Robert Emeršič rodil 28. maja 1975. Svoje otroštvo in mladost je preživel skupaj s staršema in sestro v župniji Hoče. Cela družina je bila tesno povezana z delovanjem in duhovnim življenjem hočke župnije. Ta tesna povezanost z župnijo in z dušnimi pastirji je tudi Roberta spodbudila, da je pogumno odgovoril na Gospodov klic.
Leta 2008 posvečen v duhovnika
Čeprav se je že izšolal za poklic, je vendarle pogumno stopil na pot duhovništva. V duhovnika je bil posvečen v mariborski stolnici, 29. junija 2008, ko je bil star 33 let. Po posvečenju je dve leti opravljal kaplansko službo v župniji Ravne na Koroškem. V začetku avgusta 2010 je v upravo prevzel župnijo Rače, v novembru 2020 pa še sosednjo župnijo sv. Ane v Framu.
Na vseh službenih mestih si je z vsemi močmi prizadeval pričevati za vrednote evangelija. Z vsemi močmi si je prizadeval ohranjati lepoto svetišč in bogoslužnih prostorov. Njegove priprave na obhajanje bogoslužja so bile temeljite, pa tudi s svojim prijaznim značajem in optimizmom je povsod prinašal upanje.
