ZKA launched the audit of the Barnatari system in Kosovo

The State Audit Office (ZKA) has begun auditing the 'Barnatari' system, a digital platform used by Kosovo's Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices since 2015. The audit aims to assess whether the system provides adequate data security, availability, and effective operational functionality. The platform is used by pharmacies, medical device suppliers, and other stakeholders in the pharmaceutical sector and currently registers over 1,700 pharmacies. The audit will focus on the system's functionality and reliability, analyzing whether it meets necessary standards for managing data and processes

Zyra Kombëtare e Auditimit (ZKA) ka bërë të ditur se, në kuadër të Planit Vjetor të Auditimit 2025/2026, ka filluar auditimin e Sistemit “Barnatari”, platformë e Agjencisë së Kosovës për Produkte dhe Pajisje Medicinale, e cila shërben për menaxhimin e proceseve të regjistrimit, licencimit dhe qarkullimit të barnave dhe pajisjeve medicinale në vend.

Sipas njoftimit të ZKA-së, auditimi synon të vlerësojë nëse sistemi “Barnatari” ofron “siguri dhe kontrolle adekuate të të dhënave, disponueshmëri dhe vazhdimësi efektive të funksionimit”, me qëllim mbështetjen e aktiviteteve operacionale të institucionit.

Platforma digjitale “Barnatari” është në përdorim që nga viti 2015 dhe shfrytëzohet nga barnatoret, depot farmaceutike dhe subjekte të tjera të sektorit farmaceutik. Aktualisht, në sistem janë të regjistruara mbi 1,700 barnatore, ndërsa ai luan rol kyç në kontrollin e cilësisë, sigurisë dhe gjurmueshmërisë së produkteve medicinale që qarkullojnë në tregun e Kosovës.

ZKA thekson se auditimi do të fokusohet në funksionalitetin dhe besueshmërinë e sistemit, duke analizuar nëse ai përmbush standardet e nevojshme për menaxhim efektiv të të dhënave dhe proceseve të sektorit farmaceutik.
