Michael V writes: The irony in all of this is that if you asked AI to formulate a scenario that didn’t make CO2 emissions worse and to provide a pathway for no increase in emissions, it would definitely say screw the fluffers, regulate them to buggery and ensure exorbitant fines are exacted for non-compliance. But despite the thrall of AI, nobody is going to cop that. Some grunt in the back office would tweak the algorithm to say do whatever Elon says.
