Czech Highway Drivers Shocked: Leopard Tanks Crashing Roads - The Beasts of the Field Leave the Base

Six Leopard 2A4 tanks, equipped with rubber 'donuts' to prevent road damage, were driven along a highway in the eastern Czech Republic as part of a military exercise testing the transportation of armored vehicles on high-class roads. The tanks, weighing approximately 55 tons each, moved on their own axles rather than being transported by rail or low-platform trailers. The convoy left its base early Tuesday, traveled several kilometers, crossed a bridge on the highway, and returned to the highway before completing multiple laps throughout the day with driver rotations.
