As a result, Japanese authorities have begun organizing training exercises to coordinate the behavior of police officers, rescuers, hunters, and ordinary citizens in crisis situations. A mannequin wearing a bear mask was used instead of a real bear during these drills. A video below shows a previous bear attack in Japan.
