Sverige krossade Tunisien i VM-premiären med klara 5–1.

Tunisien sparkar sin förbundskapten Sabri Lamouchi, rapporterar Reuters.

Bara timmar efter slutsignal kom rapporter om att 54-årige Lamouchi fått sparken.
Nu står det klart att så också blir fallet. Det skriver Reuters, med hänvisning till ett inlägg av det tunisiska fotbollsförbundets Instagram.
”En överenskommelse har officiellt nåtts för att entlediga tränaren Sabri Lamouchi” , skriver förbundet enligt Reuters och fortsätter:
”Planer pågår för att utse Mondher Kebaier till landslagstränare (på tillfällig basis), för att träna landslaget under VM.”
Kebaier har tidigare varit tunisisk förbundskapten, under åren 2019–2022.
Fick bara fem matcher
Sabri Lamouchi anställdes som Tunisiens förbundskapten i januari i år och fick endast göra fem (!) landskamper som tränare för landslaget.
Enligt The Athletic är Lamouchi den förste förbundskaptenen i VM-historien att få sparken efter endast en match.
Tunisien ställs härnäst mot Japan i VM-gruppspelet, med avspark på söndag morgon klockan 06.00 – en match som SVT sänder.
