The storm of the past six years, especially Donald Trump’s second term (which is less than halfway done, mind you), means the Reserve Bank needs a plan to navigate the mess. Well, now we have that document , which describes, officially, how the RBA intends to handle geopolitical risks.

A lot of economics nerds joined Australia’s central bank in thinking it was going to settle into a lovely world of numbers and bathe deeply in models. Instead, as crisis points shift around the world, it spends more time on Google Maps than Mathematica.
