Utsjoki on jälleen myös Suomen kostein kunta. Siellä myydään asukaslukuun suhteutettuna eniten alkoholia, kun mukaan lasketaan oluen lisäksi viinit, väkevät juomat, siiderit ja juomasekoitukset.

Vähiten alkoholia myydään Ahvenanmaalla sijaitsevassa Hammarlandissa.

Iltalehti kokosi listan siitä, kuinka paljon olutta on myyty Suomen kunnissa vuonna 2025. Asukaslukuun suhteutettu myynti (litraa vähintään 15-vuotiasta kohti) pohjautuu Digi- ja väestötietoviraston väestötietojärjestelmän tietoihin joulukuun lopulta 2025.

THL muistuttaa, että erityisesti asukasmäärältään pienissä kunnissa alkoholijuomien myynnin määrä ei välttämättä vastaa kunnan asukkaiden kuluttamaa alkoholin määrää.

Tämä koskee myös niitä kuntia, joissa esimerkiksi matkailijoiden tai kesämökkiläisten määrä on suuri suhteessa asukaslukuun.
