Tokom prva tri dana međunarodne akcije pojačane kontrole saobraćaja, koja se sprovodi u okviru organizacije ROADPOL (Evropska mreža saobraćajnih policija), pripadnici Uprave saobraćajne policije u Direkciji policije isključili su iz saobraćaja 623 vozača zbog vožnje pod dejstvom alkohola i 30 vozača zbog vožnje pod dejstvom psihoaktivnih supstanci. Akcija traje do 21. juna, a danas, 19. juna, je udarni dan kada će u funkciji biti svi raspoloživi alkometri i uređaji koji detektuju vožnju pod dejstvom droga i to neprestano tokom 24 sata.

Od početka akcije, 15. juna, kontrolisano je više od 26.000 vozača, a osim navedenih prekršaja otkriveno je i oko 8.000 drugih prekršaja, navedeno je u saopštenju MUP-a.

U sklopu ove akcije , podsećaju, u petak, 19. juna, širom Evrope biće realizovan takozvani "Alcohol and Drugs Marathon", kada će u kontroli saobraćaja neprekidno, tokom 24 časa , biti angažovani svi raspoloživi alkometri, kao i uređaji za kontrolu prisustva psihoaktivnih supstanci u organizmu .

Iz MUP -a apeluju na sve učesnike u saobraćaju da ne upravljaju vozilom ukoliko su konzumirali alkohol ili psihoaktivne supstance.

Za pet meseci isključeno 22.000 vozača zbog upravljanja vozilom pod dejstvom alkohola

Pripadnici saobraćajne policije , u prvih pet meseci ove godine, isključili su iz saobraćaja više od 22.000 vozača zbog upravljanja vozilom pod dejstvom alkohola, od čega je više od 3.000 zadržano u službenim prostorijama, zbog upravljanja vozilom sa više od 1,20 promila alkohola u organizmu.

Takođe, iz saobraćaja je isključeno i oko 1.100 vozača zbog upravljanja vozilom pod dejstvom psihoaktivnih supstanci, što je za 50 odsto više u odnosu na isti period prošle godine.

Ministarstvo unutrašnjih poslova je apelovalo na građane da ne upravljaju vozilom pod dejstvom alkohola ili psihoaktivnih supstanci i da odgovornim ponašanjem doprinesu očuvanju bezbednosti saobraćaja na putevima.
