Това стана ясно от обявения от организаторите списък, според който младият талант Иван Иванов ще има възможност да играе в квалификациите.
Надпреварата в английската столица Лондон тази година ще се проведе между 29 юни и 12 юли.
35-годишният Димитров заема 169-о място в световната ранглиста към момента. Най-доброто му постижение на "Уимбълдън" е полуфинал през 2014-а година.
Участието му през миналата година бе особено драматично, след като българската тенис звезда имаше преднина от 2:0 сета в четвъртия кръг срещу актуалния водач в световната ранглиста Яник Синер (Италия), но получи контузия и се наложи да се оттегли в мача. По-късно се разбра, че Григор Димитров е получил частично разкъсване на десния голям гръден мускул и последва дълго възстановяване.
17-годишният Иван Иванов стана шампион на сингъл при юношите на Откритото първенство на Великобритания през 2025-а и сега му предстои дебютно участие при мъжете.
