Turkey identifies EP report on the country as based on false allegations and rejects the accusations against the Minister of Justice

Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement rejecting the European Parliament's report on the country, calling it based on false claims and biased against Turkey. Министерство на външните работи на Турция публикува на официалния си сайт позиция, с която определи доклада на Европейския парламент за напредъка на страната като почиващ на нервни твърдения и отхвърли обвинения срещу правосъдния министър, които според Анкара се съдържат в документа.

"Докладът за Турция за 2025 г., който беше приет на пленарната сесия на Европейския парламент днес, съдържа оценки, почиващи на неоснователни твърдения и дезинформация от кръгове, настроени срещу страната ни, които са несъвместими с фактите", пише в позицията на Министерството на външни работи на Турция.

Турция счита, че докладът отразява идеологическите предубеждения на "някои членове на Европейския парламент" и че той хвърля сянка върху ползотворния дневен ред в момент, когато стратегическата важност на отношенията между Турция и Европейския съюз нараства.

"Този подход, който създава почва за терористични организации и антитурски кръгове, за пореден път показва колко далеч е Европейският парламент от поставянето на масата на стратегическа визия за бъдещето на отношенията между Турция и Европейския съюз", пише още в позицията на Министерството на външните работи.

Турция не приема също така заключения, свързани с разследвания в страната, подчертавайки че съдебната система в Турция е независима.

"Категорично отхвърляме изопачаването на разследванията, водени от независимата турска съдебна система и отправянето на безпочвени обвинения срещу нашия министър на правосъдието", заявиха от Министерството на външните работи на Турция.

Според позицията очакването на Турция е да бъде възприет подход, основан на общите интереси, който ще допринесе за развитието на отношенията между Анкара и Брюксел.
