Изненадващата прогноза идва неофициално откъм “Продължаваме промяната” и “Демократична България”, където също са били изненадани от емоционалния пост, с който главният секретар на МВР в понеделник на обяд чрез фейсбук сдаде поста.
“Ускорение на два паралелни проекта” е лаконичното обяснение, защото и в тесния кръг, който търси обединяваща фигура за държавен глава вдясно, не знаели, че Кандев си тръгва. Но са чули, че кръг от политолози и медийни експерти обмисля Андрей Гюров да оглави нова партия.
Изненада от хода на Георги Кандев демонстрира дори настоящият му началник - вътрешният министър Иван Демерджиев . Той още преди изборите заяви, че ще работи с главния секретар на МВР заради успехите му в борбата с купуването и продаването на гласове.
Да избирам между поста и принципите си, е невъзможно. Да обещавам действия, когато се налага да мълча - също. Разбрах посланието. 30 г. нося униформата със съзнанието, че законът е гръбнакът на държавата, че задачата на полицая не е да е удобен, а да е полезен. Затова не мога да бъда човекът, който просто ще гледа страшно в камерите. Моята задача винаги е била да търся истината, да нося отговорност и да вземам решения, когато е трудно. В месеците преди изборите доказах, че мога да я изпълня, когато имам свобода и подкрепа. Всички полицаи го доказахме.
Не искам да нося отговорност за решения, които не вземам,
и за фасада, която не искам да подпирам с името си, написа Кандев във фейсбук минути преди Демерджиев да награди пожарникарите, спасявали хората от автобуса в катастрофата на “Челопешко шосе” в петък.
Вероятно главният секретар на МВР е използвал професионални пиар съвети за тези емоционални думи, както и за изненадващата своя оставка.
Те се появиха след повече от месец мълчание в социалните мрежи - необичайно поведение за Кандев, който в един момент стана по-разпознаваем и от служебния премиер Гюров. Той си позволи само веднъж изява - когато заловиха прокурорския син от Перник.
Минути след поста на Кандев във фейсбук, бившият премиер Андрей Гюров също говори за “свободата” на главния секретар (виж в карето) и публикува снимка на двамата - по време на работа в хеликоптер, усмихнати и сочещи с пръст към обектива. В тази светкавична подкрепа на двамата земляци от Гоце Делчев, които са родени и в една и съща година, наблюдатели съзряха добре премислена стратегия към политиката. Гюров и Кандев са връстници - родени са през 1975 г. Главният секретар на МВР е имал най-голямото доверие в служебното правителство от страна на тогавашния премиер. По лични признания на Гюров те са и семейни приятели.
Иначе какви са неофициалните версии генералът да свали униформата? Липса на свобода, проблеми с част от екипа на Демерджиев, но не и със самия министър, който с изявите си е вече реалната звезда в МВР.
Кандев ме изненада със заявлението си за напускане по собствена воля. Без мотиви. Питах го, но каза, че са от личен характер, но няма да ги коментирам. Аз съм възпитан, че мъжете трябва да говорят директно в очите. Трябваше да го каже на мен, а не във фейсбук. Той се ползваше с пълното ми доверие. Винаги съм го подкрепял. Не съм имал съмнения в него и да искам оставката му , коментира Демерджиев и увери, че не е имал намерение да иска оставката му, защото му има доверие.
Източници от МВР лансираха и друга версия - липсата на активност на главния секретар по темата за незаконното строителство в местността Баба Алино. Самият министър Демерджиев директно обяви преди време публично, че украинската посланичка Олеся Илашчук е въздействала в ДАНС да се отмени заповедта за изгонване от България на инвеститора Олег Невзоров. Каква е ролята или бездействието на Кандев около дипломатката и кмета на Варна, който е от “Продължаваме промяната”, не се посочва.
Според източници от ПП и ДБ причината да се ускорят двата проекта - публичното лансиране на кандидатпрезидентската двойка и новата политическа сила, са възникнали противоречия в няколко посоки.

за президент. Членове на ПП и ДБ обаче били силно притеснени, че след раздялата в две парламентарни групи доверието към политическите сили не се е увеличило, а е разделено почти равно между 6-6,5 на сто.
