Σοβαρό τροχαίο ατύχημα σημειώθηκε το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής στον Περιφερειακό Θεσσαλονίκης , με αποτέλεσμα τον τραυματισμό δύο ανήλικων και την πρόκληση σημαντικών κυκλοφοριακών προβλημάτων.
Το ατύχημα συνέβη περίπου στις 12:20, στο ρεύμα κυκλοφορίας προς τα ανατολικά, στο ύψος του κόμβου της Νεάπολης . Σύμφωνα με τις πρώτες πληροφορίες, δύο επιβατικά αυτοκίνητα συγκρούστηκαν με νταλίκα , κάτω από συνθήκες που μέχρι στιγμής παραμένουν άγνωστες .
Η σύγκρουση ήταν ιδιαίτερα σφοδρή, με αποτέλεσμα να τραυματιστούν δύο ανήλικα παιδιά που επέβαιναν σε ένα από τα οχήματα.
Αμέσως μετά το περιστατικό κινητοποιήθηκαν οι αρμόδιες αρχές, ενώ τα δύο παιδιά διακομίστηκαν στο νοσοκομείο «Γ. Γεννηματάς» για προληπτικό έλεγχο και περαιτέρω ιατρικές εξετάσεις.
Παράλληλα, το τροχαίο προκάλεσε σοβαρή αναστάτωση στην κυκλοφορία των οχημάτων στον Περιφερειακό Θεσσαλονίκης . Στο σημείο σχηματίστηκαν ουρές χιλιομέτρων, καθώς η κίνηση διεξαγόταν με δυσκολία μετά τη σύγκρουση των οχημάτων.
