Τρεις οδηγοί ταξί συνελήφθησαν στο Λασίθι , καθώς φέρονται να επιχείρησαν να εισπράξουν κόμιστρο μεγαλύτερο από το προβλεπόμενο, στο πλαίσιο στοχευμένων ελέγχων της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας για την αντιμετώπιση παραβατικών συμπεριφορών επαγγελματιών οδηγών.

Σύμφωνα με την ΕΛ.ΑΣ., οι έλεγχοι πραγματοποιήθηκαν τη Δευτέρα 15 Ιουνίου 2026 από αστυνομικούς του Τμήματος Τροχαίας Αγίου Νικολάου, στο πλαίσιο δράσεων της Διεύθυνσης Αστυνομίας Λασιθίου.

Κατά τη διάρκεια των ελέγχων συνελήφθησαν τρεις ημεδαποί, ηλικίας 47, 48 και 25 ετών, οι οποίοι εντοπίστηκαν να εκτελούν δρομολόγια με ταξί και, μετά την ολοκλήρωση της διαδρομής, να επιχειρούν να εισπράξουν από τους πελάτες ποσό υψηλότερο από αυτό που αναγραφόταν τόσο στο ταξίμετρο όσο και στην εκτυπωμένη απόδειξη.

Σε βάρος των τριών οδηγών βεβαιώθηκαν οι προβλεπόμενες διοικητικές κυρώσεις, ενώ η προανάκριση για την υπόθεση διενεργείται από το Τμήμα Τροχαίας Αγίου Νικολάου.

Από την ΕΛ.ΑΣ. επισημαίνεται ότι οι στοχευμένοι έλεγχοι θα συνεχιστούν, με στόχο την προστασία των επιβατών και την εμπέδωση αισθήματος ασφάλειας στις μετακινήσεις των πολιτών.
