Σε καθεστώς έκτακτης ανάγκης λόγω λειψυδρίας Τήνος και Αλόννησος

Παρατείνεται για ακόμη τρεις μήνες το αντίστοιχο καθεστώς στο Μεγανήσι της Λευκάδας

Σε καθεστώς έκτακτης ανάγκης, λόγω λειψυδρίας κηρύσσεται για τους επόμενους τρεις μήνες η Αλόννησος, με απόφαση που υπέγραψε ο υπουργός Περιβάλλοντος και Ενέργειας Σταύρος Παπασταύρου.

Με την ίδια υπουργική απόφαση, σε κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης λόγω λειψυδρίας κηρύσσεται και το νησί της Τήνου , ενώ παρατείνεται για ακόμη τρεις μήνες το αντίστοιχο καθεστώς στο Μεγανήσι της Λευκάδας.

Σύμφωνα με την ΕΡΤ, η απόφαση εκδόθηκε κατόπιν σύμφωνης γνώμης της Ρυθμιστικής Αρχής Αποβλήτων, Ενέργειας και Υδάτων (ΡΑΑΕΥ) και του Γενικού Γραμματέα Αιγαίου και Νησιωτικής Πολιτικής, δίνοντας τη δυνατότητα λήψης έκτακτων μέτρων για την αντιμετώπιση των αυξημένων αναγκών υδροδότησης του νησιού κατά τη θερινή περίοδο.

Την εξέλιξη αυτή χαιρετίζει ο δήμαρχος Αλοννήσου, Παναγιώτης Αναγνώστου, τονίζοντας πως «η απόφαση θα συμβάλει στην επιτάχυνση των απαραίτητων διαδικασιών για την αντιμετώπιση του προβλήματος της λειψυδρίας, σε μια περίοδο κατά την οποία η ζήτηση νερού αυξάνεται σημαντικά λόγω της τουριστικής κίνησης».
