They're recalling, they were fecal contaminated.

The Slovenian Food Safety Authority (UVHVVR) has issued a recall for fresh mussels (Mitilo) due to contamination with Escherichia coli, an indicator of fecal pollution. The affected product was packaged in a PVC bag with batch number 2593526, packed on June 3, 2026, and sold at the fish market in Koper. The producer is Vladimir Bašić, and the distributor is Marko Antolović s.p. The product, which originated from Croatia, is no longer available for sale. Consumers who still have the product at home, especially if it has been frozen, are advised to discard it.

Uprava za varno hrano, veterinarstvo in varstvo rastlin (UVHVVR) je potrošnike obvestila o umiku svežih školjk - dagenj, v katerih so v okviru uradnega vzorčenja ugotovili prisotnost bakterije Escherichia coli. Ta bakterija predstavlja indikator fekalnega onesnaženja živila.

Nevarnost sporočili po tem, ko so živilo že nehali prodajati

Gre za sveže dagnje (Mitilo), pakirane v PVC vreči z oznako lota 2593526 in datumom pakiranja 3. junij 2026.
