A herd of cows went on a trip, penetrated the third floor of the hospital, footage from Germany shows.

A herd of six cows wandered into a hospital building in Germany, entering through automatic doors and reaching the second and third floors. The cows did not enter patient rooms or operating areas but left behind some mess on the stairs. Hospital staff and police contacted the owner, who was unaware of the situation. The owner helped guide the cows back to their pasture nearby. A hospital spokesperson joked that the cows might have wanted to get checked for 'blue tongue disease', a viral infection affecting ruminants.

Úsměvný příběh se odehrál ve středu minulý týden. Kolem půl deváté dopoledne převzala policie tísňové volání, že se volně pohybující stádo hovězího dobytka vydalo na výlet k městu, informovala policie v  tiskové zprávě .

Ještě před příjezdem hlídky se personálu a kolemjdoucím podařilo na parkovišti před nemocnicí dvě krávy zadržet, zatímco zbylých šest už dovádělo v objektu kliniky. Do ní vstoupily automatickými dveřmi a pokračovaly podle serveru Hessenschau po schodišti až do druhého a třetího podlaží.

Na pokoje pacientů ani na vyšetřovny či na operační sál se nedostaly, zato na schodišti leccos „zapomněly“. Když zdravotníci s policií majitele stáda vyrozuměli, ten ještě neměl tušení, co mu jeho zvířata provedla.

Okamžitě přijel na „místo činu“ a pomohl krávy bezpečně dostat z nemocnice na parkoviště, kde je nahnal do mobilního výběhu a dopravil zpět na necelý kilometr vzdálenou pastvinu.

„Je možné, že se chtěly u nás nechat vyšetřit na nemoc modrého jazyka,“ zavtipkovala mluvčí nemocnice v narážce na katarální horečku. Jde o virové infekční onemocnění přežvýkavců doprovázené mimo jiné silným prokrvením a zmodráním jazyka.

Při incidentu nebyl nikdo zraněn a bez újmy vyvázly i krávy. Zato interiér nemocnice musel projít důkladnou očistou a dezinfekcí.
