Vlada Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata (UAE) izdala je danas rezoluciju kojom se reguliše pristup dece platformama društvenih mreža i postavlja minimalni uzrast od 15 godina za korišćenje društvenih mreža.

Rezolucija omogućava platformama društvenih medija da postepeno primene nove standarde tokom prelaznog perioda do 12 meseci, u koordinaciji sa nadležnim organima, osiguravajući tehničku i regulatornu spremnost, objavila je danas vlada UAE.

Prema rezoluciji, deci mlađoj od 15 godina je zabranjeno kreiranje ili korišćenje ličnih naloga na platformama društvenih medija i neće im biti dozvoljen pristup njihovim punim funkcijama, prenosi emiratski "Gulf news".

Deci između 15 i 16 godina mora se obezbediti regulisan i bezbedan pristup platformama koje podležu klasifikaciji sadržaja prilagođenoj uzrastu, ograničenoj interakciji, regulisanom vremenu korišćenja i roditeljskoj kontroli.

Rezolucija se primenjuje na sve platforme društvenih medija koje omogućavaju korisnicima da kreiraju naloge ili lične profile, učestvuju u društvenoj interakciji, objavljuju ili dele sadržaj ili koje se oslanjaju na algoritamske sisteme za prikazivanje, rangiranje ili preporučivanje sadržaja, bilo besplatnog ili plaćenog.

Prema rezoluciji, roditeljski pristanak ne predstavlja validno izuzeće od zabrana ili ograničenja navedenih u rezoluciji. To znači da čak i ako roditelj da dozvolu, ta dozvola ne može da se koristi za zaobilaženje pravila u rezoluciji.

Rezolucija takođe zabranjuje korišćenje ili obradu ličnih podataka dece u komercijalne svrhe na osnovu praćenja njihovih digitalnih aktivnosti, odnosno kompanijama se brani da prikupljaju i koriste lične podatke dece u poslovne ili reklamne svrhe praćenjem šta deca rade na mreži.
