Disgraceful scene from Croatian island: Faeces allegedly dumped into sea in front of bathers

Naselje Lumbarda na otoku Korčula

Prebivalci naselja Lumbarda na turistično zelo priljubljenem hrvaškem otoku Korčula so pretreseni zaradi nedavnega dogodka na lokalni plaži. Hrvaškemu Dnevniku so posredovali posnetek, s katerega je razvidno, da se je na plažo pripeljala cisterna in v morje spustila vsebino rjave barve. Po navedbah domačinov gre za fekalije.

Incident se je zgodil v ponedeljek v uvali Tatinja. Ker naj bi bilo lokalno komunalno vozilo pokvarjeno, je na intervencijo prišla cisterna vodovoda NPKLM. Na posnetku je videti, kako iz cevi cisterne v morje teče vsebina rjave barve, ki spominja na fekalije. Domačini pravijo, da je cisterna izpraznila greznico v bližini, ostanke pa so spustili v morje.

Prizor se je zgodil le nekaj metrov stran od kopalcev, vse prisotne pa je močno pretresel. Hrvaški Dnevnik se je z vprašanji o dogodku obrnil tudi na podjetje NPKLM, a odgovorov niso prejeli.
