Za Manchester City se bo nova era po Pepu Guardioli prav tako začela 23. avgusta z domačo tekmo proti Bournemouthu. Pričakovati je, da bo City do tedaj za naslednika Guardiole tudi uradno potrdil nekdanjega trenerja Chelseaja Enza Maresco.
Sezona se bo končala 30. maja 2027.
