Russian drones hit two merchant ships in the Black Sea

Russian drones attacked two commercial ships in the Black Sea. One ship was heading to Odesa to load metal products, while the other, carrying wheat, was departing from a Ukrainian port. No injuries were reported, and both ships continued their journeys. The head of Odesa Oblast state administration accused Russia of targeting civilian objects and energy infrastructure in the region. Ukraine previously announced an attack on a Russian shadow fleet tanker used for transporting oil and petroleum products to bypass international sanctions.

Jedna z lodí směřovala do přístavu v Oděse, kde měla naložit kovové výrobky. Druhá loď, naložená pšenicí, naopak vyplouvala z ukrajinského přístavu, informovala správa ukrajinských námořních přístavů na síti Telegram . Úřad dodal, že nikdo nebyl zraněn a lodě pokračovaly v plavbě.

„Nepřítel pokračuje v terorizování pokojné Oděské oblasti a snaží se narušit fungování ukrajinského námořního koridoru,“ uvedl na sítích k útoku šéf Oděské oblastní státní správy Oleh Kiper. Dodal, že Rusko útočilo i na jih Oděské oblasti. „Terčem se staly civilní objekty a energetická infrastruktura,“ napsal s tím, že útoky si nevyžádaly žádné oběti. Jen o chvíli později však informoval o dalším leteckém poplachu v Oděském okrese.

Ukrajina dříve oznámila útok na tanker ruské stínové flotily v Černém moři. „Tanker WEST Horizon je využíván v rámci schémat ruské stínové flotily k přepravě ropy a ropných produktů za účelem obcházení mezinárodních sankcí,“ uvedl na sítích ukrajinský generální štáb.

Rusko dlouhodobě útočí na přístavy či lodě využívající ukrajinský námořní koridor. Ukrajina naopak podniká údery proti ruským logistickým a energetickým cílům, včetně tankerů využívaných k vývozu ropy.
