Ministerul rus al Apărării a susținut că racheta Patriot care, potrivit acestuia, a avariat mănăstirea ar fi putut să se declanşeze accidental.

„Forțele armate ale Federației Ruse nu planifică și nu efectuează atacuri împotriva infrastructurii civile”, a declarat Ministerul rus al Apărării într-un comunicat.

Patru persoane au murit în atacurile asupra Kievului, în timp ce cinci salvatori au pierit încercând să stingă un incendiu provocat de un atac asupra orașului Harkov, din nord-estul țării, au adăugat oficialii.
