Die britische Rocklegende Bonnie Tyler ist nach Wochen aus dem künstlichen Koma erwacht. Die 75-Jährige sei „nicht mehr im Koma, aber weiterhin sehr krank und auf der Intensivstation“ in Portugal, teilten Tylers Team und Familie gestern Abend auf ihrer Website mit.
Die Ärzte seien weiter zuversichtlich, „dass sie sich gut erholen wird, aber es wird seine Zeit dauern“. Deshalb würden alle bis Ende August geplanten Konzerte abgesagt oder verschoben.
Tyler war Anfang Mai nach einer Notoperation in einem Krankenhaus in Faro an der südportugiesischen Algarve-Küste in ein künstliches Koma versetzt worden. Nach Angaben aus ihrem Umfeld musste sie sich einer Darm-OP unterziehen.
Tylers Europatournee sollte ursprünglich schon im Mai beginnen, im Juli und August sollten Open-Air-Konzerte in Deutschland, Österreich und England stattfinden. Das Abschlusskonzert ist bisher für Dezember in Cardiff in Wales geplant – ganz in der Nähe von Tylers Geburtsort.
