Triplets and reds in a historic HM victory

Jonathan David scored a hat-trick for Canada in their 6-0 victory over Qatar in the group stage of the men's World Cup qualifiers in Vancouver. The match ended with Canada securing their first win of the tournament. Cyle Larin and Jonathan David scored the first two goals for Canada before Homam Al-Amin received a red card for a tackle on Tajon Buchanan in the 38th minute. In the second half, Assim Madibo was shown a red card for a foul on Ismaël Kone in the 53rd minute. Nathan-Dylan Saliba, Mohamed Naceur Almanai, and Jonathan David added further goals to secure the win.
