Czech Republic and South Africa's rematch at the opening round of the World Cup

In the second round match of Group A at the World Cup, Czech Republic and South Africa drew 1-1 in Atlanta. Michal Sadilek scored for the Czechs in the 6th minute, while Teboho Mokoena equalized for South Africa with a penalty kick in the 83rd minute. The Czech team took advantage of a defensive error by South Africa during a set piece, leading to Sadilek's goal. South Africa's equalizer came after a fortunate incident where a shot hit the hand of Czech goalkeeper Šula, resulting in a penalty awarded to South Africa, which Mokoena converted confidently.
