Kryeministri i Shqipërisë, Edi Rama ka reaguar pas zhvillimeve të fundit në protestën kundër projekteve në Sazan dhe Zvërnec, gjatë së cilës u bllokuan për disa orë autostrada Tiranë-Durrës dhe aksi rrugor drejt Aeroportit të Rinasit.
Në një reagim në rrjetet sociale, Rama deklaroi se protesta ka humbur lidhjen me kauzën e saj fillestare dhe se veprimet e fundit po dëmtojnë imazhin e vendit, sezonin turistik dhe klimën e investimeve.
Sipas kreut të qeverisë, dokumentacioni dhe procedurat e ndjekura nga institucionet shtetërore tregojnë se qeveria ka vepruar në përputhje me interesin publik dhe standardet ndërkombëtare, duke argumentuar se protesta nuk lidhet më me çështjen e Sazanit apo të Zvërnecit.
“Kjo protestë po godet imazhin e Shqipërisë dhe sezonin turistik, duke ushqyer perceptimin negativ e të pavërtetë të një vendi jomiqësor ndaj mjedisit, jomikpritës për investimet e huaja dhe të pasigurt për turistët”, u shpreh Rama.
Kryeministri ngriti shqetësimin edhe për pasojat ekonomike që, sipas tij, mund të sjellin anulimet e rezervimeve në hotele dhe bllokimet e akseve rrugore, duke paralajmëruar ndikim negativ për familjet dhe bizneset që varen nga industria e turizmit.
Në deklaratën e tij, Rama kritikoi ashpër organizatorët e protestës dhe zhvillimet e fundit, duke i cilësuar si të ndikuara nga “forca destruktive” dhe elementë të ekstremizmit. Ai veçoi bllokimin e rrugës së aeroportit, duke e konsideruar një veprim që cenon lirinë e lëvizjes së qytetarëve.
Kreu i qeverisë shprehu gjithashtu keqardhje për pjesëmarrjen e të rinjve në protestë, duke thënë se shumë prej tyre janë mashtruar nga individë që, sipas tij, kanë interesa për të dëmtuar vendin.
Në fund të reagimit, Rama theksoi se qeveria do të marrë në konsideratë shqetësimet legjitime të qytetarëve, ndërsa u shpreh i bindur se Partia Socialiste do të dalë më e fortë politikisht pas përfundimit të kësaj situate.
“Qeveria do të nxjerrë mësimet e nevojshme nga pjesa e çiltër e protestës, ndërsa Partia Socialiste do t’i zhgënjejë kundërshtarët e saj duke u shfaqur më e madhe dhe më e fortë në qendër të skenës politike”, përfundoi Rama.
