Pas encore officiellement déclaré dans la course à l’Élysée, l’eurodéputé Place Publique a tenu ce samedi son premier meeting, pensé comme un moment de vérité, devant 4000 personnes selon les organisateurs.

Pendant de longues et interminables minutes, Raphaël Glucksmann a fendu ce samedi la foule de militants, serré autant de mains qu’il le pouvait, avant de finir par grimper sur scène. C’est qu’il lui fallait bien cocher toutes les cases du raout présidentiel aux Docks d’Aubervilliers, où étaient amassés pas loin de 4000 personnes selon les organisateurs. Pas un meeting de «lancement» , mais d’ «affirmation» d’un espace politique, prévenaient ses troupes. Ce qui n’a pas empêché l’eurodéputé d’adopter les accents d’un prétendant à l’Élysée. «Le prochain président devra redonner à la France sa liberté et sa souveraineté» , a lancé le fondateur de Place Publique, qui a commencé son discours par un hommage à Lyhanna, la collégienne de 11 ans retrouvée morte la semaine dernière.
Derrière son pupitre jaune, le social-démocrate, qui s’est laissé jusqu’à l’été pour décider de son destin, a surtout pris soin d’aligner les marqueurs de gauche. «Sauver l’école publique…
