Prague representatives have removed Prokop from the post of chairman of the control committee

Prague city council members voted to remove Ondrej Prokop (ANO) from his position as head of the oversight committee due to his case involving unreported apartments. Jan Husbauer from the same movement was elected to replace him. All parties except ANO and SPD supported the vote. Prokop apologized for the situation. Deputy Mayor Jaromir Beranek (Pirates) also plans to submit a proposal to remove Prokop from the supervisory board of the transport company. Members of ANO defended their colleague. Pražští zastupitelé odvolali z funkce předsedy kontrolního výboru zastupitelstva Ondřeje Prokopa (ANO) kvůli jeho kauze nepřiznaných bytů. Na jeho místo zvolili dalšího zastupitele hnutí Jana Hušbauera. V hlasování to podpořily všechny kluby kromě ANO a SPD. Prokop se z jednání omluvil. Náměstek primátora Jaromír Beránek (Piráti) také v pondělí na radě města předloží návrh na Prokopovo odvolání z dozorčí rady dopravního podniku. Zastupitelé ANO se svého kolegy zastali.

Kandidát ANO na primátora Prokop nepřiznal v majetkovém přehledu vlastnictví tří družstevních bytů. Ve středu na to upozornily Seznam Zprávy . Prokop plánuje na páteční ráno tiskovou konferenci, kde chce situaci vysvětlit. Vysvětlení si od něj vyžádal i premiér a šéf ANO Andrej Babiš.
