La reapertura del Parque de La Vega , una de las actuaciones urbanísticas más relevantes de los últimos años en Toledo, ha venido acompañada de un nuevo enfrentamiento político entre PSOE y PP por la autoría de una remodelación que ha supuesto una inversión ... de 3,2 millones de euros financiados con fondos europeos Next Generation. Apenas unas horas antes de que el renovado parque vuelva a abrir sus puertas, la portavoz socialista, Noelia de la Cruz , reivindicó, desde el parque, la actuación como un proyecto «ideado, pensado y financiado» por el anterior gobierno municipal de Milagros Tolón. Minutos después, el portavoz del equipo de Gobierno, Juan José Alcalde, también en la Vega, defendió que el actual Ejecutivo local ha transformado por completo una iniciativa que, según aseguró, se limitaba a «tres folios de un proyecto».
