Police secure school in Kampen after threat on TikTok

Na een dreigement op TikTok beveiligt de politie vandaag een school voor speciaal onderwijs in Kampen. De deur van de school is voor alle zekerheid dicht, maar er wordt gewoon lesgegeven.

Het dreigement bestaat uit een video die gisteren op het sociale medium werd gezet, maar inmiddels is verwijderd. Volgens RTV Oost (opent in nieuw venster) was op de video een man te zien die zichzelf filmde terwijl hij dreigende taal uitsloeg. De man zei drie vuurwapens en 33 kogels met namen erop te hebben.

De politie laat weten dat de man uit de video nog niet is gevonden. Uit voorzorg zijn vandaag agenten "zowel zichtbaar als onzichtbaar" aanwezig bij de school aan de Marinus Postlaan in Kampen.

Privépersonen

Volgens onbevestigde berichten heeft een aantal ouders hun kinderen vandaag thuisgehouden. Directeur Ina Rook van de school laat weten dat de lessen doorgaan.

"Een persoon heeft gedreigd naar de school en privépersonen", aldus Rook. "We staan in nauw contact met de politie. Zij zijn aanwezig in het gebouw en de deur is dicht."

De school heeft aangifte gedaan bij de politie en zegt de ouders te zullen inlichten zodra de man die de dreigementen uitte is aangehouden.
