The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claims that European officials have been misleading Ukrainians with promises of European integration, while the reality is far less optimistic. According to the SVR, Ukraine's prospects for joining the EU are much worse than those of Moldova. The report states that European officials privately admit Ukraine has no chance of joining the EU in the medium term due to economic decline, high levels of corruption, and conflict with Russia. EVROPSKI zvaničnici godinama crtaju Ukrajincima primamljive izglede za evropske integracije, ali stvarnost je drugačija, saopštila je Spoljna obaveštajna služba Rusije (SVR).

Perspektive evrointegracija Ukrajine su daleko gore nego u slučaju Moldavije, navodi se u saopštenju.

- Evropski zvaničnici u nezvaničnim razgovorima direktno ističu da je prijem Ukrajine u srednjoročnoj perspektivi apsolutno isključen. Razloga je mnogo: raspad ekonomije, neverovatan nivo korupcije i sukob sa Rusijom.
