The fence in the Gradac River Protected Area is still standing, although the deadline for its removal has passed (PHOTO/VIDEO)

A concrete and wire fence erected by the elders of the 'Ćelije' monastery around their property in the protected area of the Gradac River remains standing despite an order from the republican inspection to remove it. Part of the fence was later knocked down by unknown individuals, leaving broken concrete posts and overgrown wire that pose potential dangers to visitors and wildlife. Ognjen Krnetić, the guardian of the protected area, stated that the deadline for removing the illegally constructed fence has passed and expressed concern about the risk posed by the fallen section.

Bias read (Center): The article presents facts without overtly favoring any side. It reports on the illegal construction of a fence, the regulatory violation, and the resulting safety concerns. The tone is neutral, quoting both the guardians of the protected area and the situation on the ground without apparent bias.
