Call of the PU Kranj
Due to the possible changing weather conditions, we also advise you to monitor ARSO, the Mountain Rescue Association of Slovenia and the Mountain Association of Slovenia before going to the high mountains. When planning a tour, use Slovenian maps and data and verified websites, including https://mapzs.pzs.si/home/trails. Do not use or trust various applications!
We also appeal to the hospitality and tourism staff of hotels, motor camps, apartments, rooms ... Inform your guests before going to the mountains, the mountains. You are the first to have contact with them. Advise them to visit information and tourist points where they will be able to advise and offer a suitable tour in nature. We find that some foreign visitors to the mountains do not have a real idea and information about the difficulties of our mountains.
Police officers, mountain rescuers, medical personnel, helicopter crews and others, once again urge hikers to go to the mountains prudently, thoughtfully and with a high degree of responsibility. Plan in advance a tour that is appropriate to your knowledge, time, weather and your psychophysical abilities. Be properly equipped and wearing shoes. Have a sufficient amount of fluids with you.
