Berlin je dobil novo muzejsko četrt. Odprli so jo minulo soboto na glavni železniški postaji, kjer so se povezali štirje muzeji: Prirodoslovni muzej, galerija sodobne umetnosti Hamburger Bahnhof, Futurium in Charitejev muzej zgodovine medicine z ustanovitvijo MuseumsMeileMitte oziroma muzejski milje v okrožju Mitte.
Odprtje obeležili s festivalom
Sobotno odprtje muzejske četrti so obeležili s festivalom, ki je vključeval brezplačen vstop v vse štiri muzeje in dogodke, vključno z delavnicami, vodenimi ogledi, iskanjem zaklada in filmskimi programi.
Muzeji so drug od drugega oddaljeni približno deset do 15 minut hoje. Ustanove glede na lastne navedbe že sedaj vsako leto privabijo dva milijona ljudi na to območje, v prihodnosti pa načrtujejo skupne dogodke in pobude, poroča nemška tiskovna agencija dpa.
